Alverno College

I am a member of the Alverno College ACTS committee and took the last 2022 Monarch Butterfly chrysalis to the greenhouse. I thought it was too late for it emerge and fly away. I envisioned it as a happy resident of the greenhouse. But it emerged and the weather was still fine! The students released it on October 21st. We are sure it made the journey to Mexico.

Mequon United Methodist Church Children

Every year, I take some caterpillars to Vacation Bible School for the children to watch. I always make sure there is one that will emerge when they are there and we can release it.

Children's Garden Club

The children now have their own garden space. They are planting vegetables and perennials that butterflies and bees love! We are aslo raising Monarch Butterflies.
